What's the difference between TIF and other Toastmasters Club?
- Training Games - learn new ideas through interaction and active participation
- An educational at each meeting
- Evaluation of educationals based on the 4Cs of Feedback - not only do you learn to evaluate the delivery like most Toastmasters Clubs, you also learn to evaluate the design.
So what's the difference? More interaction, more learning and more effective evaluations.

Our meetings
Our meetings consist of:
- Speeches
- Educationals
- Table topics
- Training games
- Evaluations
Speeches
Prepare and deliver speeches based on the projects in the Toastmasters Pathways program. There are 11 different learning paths. Select a path that best meets your needs, interests and goals.
You'll get valuable feedback on how to improve, along the way. Learn more about Pathways and the right path for you.
Educationals
When delivering an educational, not only do you present information but you aim to change people's behaviour. Learn how from educationals delivered at each meeting by experienced members of the club. The sessions are interactive and hands on. It's a great way of learning to deliver awesome educationals through participation and doing. We also regularly get guest speakers to educate and entertain us throughout the year.

Table Topics
Uncomfortable thinking on your feet and giving an impromptu speech? With Table Topics, you'll get practise on giving 1-2 minute answers on a topic without any preparation. Questions are normally fun and answers can be quite entertaining. It's an enjoyable way to learn this valuable skill in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Training Games
Any speaker wanting to engage with their audience, needs to involve their audience. Training games encourage active participation and provide an alternative platform for delivering a concept or idea.
Evaluations
It is through feedback that you will learn how to improve as well as discovering your strengths. For our speeches and table topics we take the usual Toastmasters approach of commend-recommend-commend. However for our educationals and training games, we use the 4Cs of feedback (Connections, Concepts, Concrete Practise and Conclusions). The 4Cs of feedback effectively evaluates whether the learning outcome have been achieved. In TIF, not only do you learn to evaluate the delivery like most Toastmasters Clubs, you also learn to evaluate the design and become a better evaluator. The better the evaluator you become, the better speaker!
